History
-
Rolling around 1952Our history begins with a copper plate business that the founder, Gen Harada started in 1950.
Amidst a rapid increase in the demand for copper plates, Harada Metal Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 1952.
Later, changing with the needs of the time, we shifted our emphasis from copper plates to phosphor bronze. -
Current Sendai Factory
We continue to work on new technologies. We decided to concentrate our management resources on the metal to which we could deliver the greatest value and to become a specialized manufacturer of “phosphor bronze”.
As its excellent characteristics have been recognized in ceaselessly evolving society and technology, phosphor bronze is now used in a variety of different fields.
One of our strengths is the continual improvements of production technologies by focusing our management resources on phosphor bronze.
Then the applications for our phosphor bronze further expanded with the spread of cell phones and smart phones, and the sophistication of technologies such as automobiles. We believe our mission is to continue to quickly respond to the world’s constantly changing needs. -
